If you searched "household staffing agency USA," here's the direct answer: this isn't one. We're an introduction platform for sponsors, domestic workers and licensed agencies across the six GCC countries — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman — not the United States.
If you're hiring household staff somewhere in the US, most of what follows still applies to your search. What to ask about vetting, contracts and cost holds true for any agency you're comparing, wherever it operates. If you're a sponsor, agency or worker in the Gulf, this is exactly what we do and how to use it.
What a Household Staffing Agency Does
Agencies vary in how much they take on. Some only introduce a household to a candidate and step back once contact is made. Others manage payroll, contracts, insurance or ongoing HR for the household employee. Ask any agency you're evaluating which one it is — the difference changes what you're actually paying for, and it's worth pinning down before you sign anything.
This platform sits at the introduction end. Sponsors search for a worker or agency listing, then contact a match directly through the app. What happens after that — pay, hours, start date, contract length — is agreed between the sponsor and the worker or agency, not by us. We don't employ anyone, set salaries, or take a share of anyone's wages.
Roles Listed on the Platform
Workers and agencies list candidates for: housemaids, nannies, cooks, cleaners, caregivers for elderly and disabled people, drivers, gardeners, general helpers and babysitters. Experience is recorded in bands — no experience, 1–2 years, 3–5 years, 6–10 years, or 10+ years — so a sponsor can filter on it before making contact.
Candidates on the platform are mainly Ethiopian, alongside Filipino, Indonesian, Sri Lankan, Indian, Bangladeshi, Nepalese, Kenyan and Ugandan workers.
If you landed here looking for work rather than looking to hire, open roles are listed at /jobs.
Arrangements, Contracts and How Contact Works
Work can be hourly, daily or monthly; live-in or live-out; full-time, part-time or flexible; weekends only or weekdays only. Contracts range from temporary (one to six months) and short-term (six to twelve months) to long-term (one to two years), permanent, or renewable, and a trial period is available.
Once a sponsor finds a listing, the first message can be sent immediately, straight from the profile. How quickly the other side replies, and whether a same-day start is realistic, is up to that worker or agency. It isn't something we set or promise, because it depends on their own availability — worth raising in the first message rather than assuming.
What It Costs
We don't set salaries or agency placement fees — those are agreed directly between the sponsor and whoever they're hiring, and they move with the role, the experience band, the country and whether the position is live-in or live-out. What we do set is what it costs to use the platform itself:
| Account | Free tier | Paid access |
|---|---|---|
| Sponsors | 1 job posting, 10 candidate searches a month, 3 saved candidates | AED 99 a week, or AED 199 a month on the Professional plan (annual billing discounted) |
| Agencies | 3 maid listings, 5 message threads, 10 sponsor connections | AED 299/month for up to 25 listings; AED 399/month for up to 100 listings with analytics, bulk upload and a verification badge; AED 499/month for unlimited listings with a dedicated account manager |
| Maids | Registration and listing are always free | Optional visibility boost: AED 25.70 for 7 days, AED 55.05 for 15 days, AED 110.10 for 30 days — or earned free by completing a profile |
Full detail is at /pricing.
Vetting and Verification
Before a worker's profile goes live, we check the documents uploaded with it: passport, national ID, medical certificate, police clearance and experience letters. That's a document check, not a full background investigation — employment background checks and skill assessments beyond that are the listing agency's responsibility, and worth asking about directly if you're working with one.
We're an introduction service, not a recruitment agency. We don't recruit, place, employ or sponsor anyone, so we hold no recruitment licence and need none — introducing a sponsor to an agency or a self-registered worker isn't a licensed activity on our end. Licensing is a question for the agency itself, and we partner only with agencies licensed in Ethiopia and the GCC. More on how we operate is at /about.
Coverage: Where This Platform Operates
We serve sponsors across all six GCC countries — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. We're headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with a regional office in Dubai, and we've been operating since 2019.
Agencies interested in listing candidates with us can read more at /for-agencies. For a sense of how sponsors and agencies have used the platform, see /success-stories.
Paperwork, Guarantees and Ongoing Support
Visas, work permits, medical certificates and travel arrangements are handled by the agency or the sponsor, under the rules of the country where the work takes place. We don't process any part of that.
The same goes for what happens if a placement doesn't work out. Replacement arrangements and any guarantee are agreed directly between the sponsor and the agency or worker, governed by the labour law of the country where the work takes place. We introduce the two parties; we don't employ anyone, set salaries or provide the guarantee ourselves. Settle this before committing — ask what a replacement looks like and what triggers it, in writing, up front.

FAQ
Do you place household staff in the USA? No. Coverage is limited to the six GCC countries listed above. If you're hiring in the US, use the guidance here on vetting, contracts and cost to compare agencies that actually operate there.
How much does it cost to hire household staff through this platform? Using the platform costs what's in the pricing table above. What you pay the worker or agency is separate, and there's no single rate — it depends on the role, experience, country and whether the position is live-in or live-out. Agree it directly before committing.
How fast can I hire? You can message a match the moment you find their listing. How quickly they reply, and how soon they can start, is down to that worker or agency — some may be available sooner than others, and it's worth asking early in the conversation.
What kind of contracts are available? Temporary (one to six months), short-term (six to twelve months), long-term (one to two years), permanent or renewable, with a trial period available on most arrangements.
Live-in or live-out — which is right for me? Both are listed on the platform, alongside full-time, part-time, weekends-only and weekdays-only arrangements. Which one suits you depends on the household's hours and space, and it's a term you agree directly with the worker or agency once you've made contact.
Is this a recruitment agency? No. We're an introduction platform — we connect sponsors with workers and licensed agencies and step back once contact is made. We don't recruit, employ, place or sponsor anyone, and we're not a party to whatever contract you agree.
